A Low-Complexity Channel Estimation Based on a Least-Squares Algorithm in OFDM Systems

چکیده
As the channel frequency responses (CFRs) at virtual pilot subcarriers are assumed to be zero, estimated CFRs will have a leakage effect for discrete Fourier transform (DFT)-based estimation in OFDM systems. The odd and even related if number of maximum delay points is smaller than or equal half pilots (including pilots). According this correlation, we propose low-complexity least-squares (LS) method estimate subcarriers, respectively. This solve problem DFT-based estimation. proposed does not need know statistical properties insert extra as with some methods. Furthermore, although has less computation LS method, both almost same efficiency simulation. our still similar that greater pilots. Therefore, very suitable equalizer hardware implementation.
